Kick off ComPuTr – September 6th, 2011
The official kick-off of the ComPuTr project took place on September 6th, 2011. This is a short report of the day.
All participants of the project were invited for the morning program. This meeting, as a first get together of everyone involved, presented a great way to get acquainted with each other. We started in the morning with an introduction to the project.
Gábor Maròti’s presentation gave insight into the history of public transport and disruption management research the ComPuTr project is build on. Evelien van der Hurk presented her past work and plans for the future of her branch of this project: disruption management. Milan Lovric presented his work in Revenue Management. Although he is not part of the ComPuTr project, has work will from the basis of Paul’s project Revenue Management, the second branch of the ComPuTr project.
